Central to this partnership is the recognition of the Australian Camps Association (ACA) as the National Camp Association of Australia. As the country’s "for purpose" peak body, the ACA remains the primary and definitive point of contact for all matters related to camping and outdoor providers within Australia. 

By partnering with the International Camping Fellowship (ICF), the ACA joins a worldwide network committed to fostering international harmony through camp education. The ICF serves as a global bridge, bringing together outdoor professionals to share insights and promote the transformative power of the camp environment.

Australian Camps International Volunteer and Cultural Exchange Program
New Ventures Worldwide

ACA is pleased to confirm that it has been approved by the Department of Home Affairs as a Temporary Activities Sponsor under the Temporary Activity (subclass 408) visa framework. This approval enables ACA to deliver the Australian Camps International Volunteer and Cultural Exchange Program, providing a compliant and structured pathway for international volunteers to support ACA member camps.

Delivered in partnership with New Ventures Worldwide (NVW), the program places young international volunteers at Australian camps for placements of up to 12 months. Volunteers support camp operations under supervision while sharing their culture, language, and experiences with young Australians in residential camp environments.
