Outer Eastern Training Institute (OETI) is a Registered Training Organisation, registered with the Australian Skills and Qualifications Authority. OETI is proud to offer the Certificate III and Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership qualifications as one or two-year traineeship programs.
Trainees enrolled in these programs will gain the skills to confidently guide outdoor recreation activities in a variety of environments. Trainees also get paid while learning, working at one of our current employers across the state. Employers vary from camps, outdoor education companies, schools and adventure tourism.

In addition to our qualification courses, OETI also runs Industry Skills Training courses in bushwalking, challenge ropes, flatwater, rafting, mountain biking, climbing/abseiling, cc skiing and snorkelling. These courses are well suited for those looking to get into the industry, or someone with a previous qualification who would like to upskill in new areas. Upon successful completion participants will again a statement of attainment with nationally recognised units of competency.

Snorkeling
