Warra Gnan Coastal Camp is Warrnambool's newest school and group camp/accommodation venue, which contains 10 dormitories, large indoor & outdoor spaces, and activities to suit the coastal location. Situated right on the doorstep of Lake Pertobe, The Merri River, Lady Bay and Stingray Bay/Merri River Sanctuary - there are too many activities for groups to do them all! The Warra Gnan team of dedicated educators will facilitate the individually empowering and team-oriented curricular needs for each cohort of campers. Through consultation with our local Gunditjmara elders and community, the name Warra Gnan means 'water hole on the Merri', which is located directly adjacent to our venue. Our friendly staff will design suitable programs for all Primary & Secondary school groups, to showcase our beautiful coastline and learn about the local history and environment. We will facilitate your program, which is a mix of local external providers and activities specifically designed by the Warra Gnan team. Our outstanding kitchen staff will have your mouth watering with delicious and nutritious foods to keep your energy levels high. We welcome enquiries regarding weekend private bookings for family reunions, holidays, sporting commitments, events and community groups.
