Get outdoors, hike, focus on teamwork, the environment, local Indigenous culture & stories, navigation, bushcraft and cooking. Build your skills and have fun on adventure activities such as abseiling, mountain biking and canoeing. Cave Hill Creek will provide packs, sleeping mats, tents and cooking stoves for all participants.
Campers should be fit enough to carry a pack and walk up to 10km per day. Most 14-15 year old's of normal fitness will be capable of this. Nonetheless to be well prepared we suggest going for 2-3 walks of 2hrs prior to camp!
Participants will sleep in tents of 2-3 participants of the same gender.
You can make requests to share hike groups/tents with siblings/friends on camp when booking. We will do our best to accommodate these requests. Campgrounds will have toilets and a shelter.
There will be 2 staff (at least 1 female) for the first 12 participants, and another 1 staff member for each additional group of 6 participants. Base camp support will be provided from Cave Hill Creek.
