Cave Hill Creek is one of Victorias premier group venues, winning Gold at the 2016 & 2017 Victorian Tourism Awards. Cave Hill Creek is situated on a secluded 40 hectares of private land at the foot of Mt Cole State Forest. Our main dining/recreation room and large outdoor pavilion both feature large bluestone fireplaces and overlook a picturesque lake suitable for canoeing, fishing and swimming.
Our facilities are all heated and accommodate up to 140 guests in 11 bunkrooms (5 with ensuite) and 6 Deluxe Eco Tents (2 ensuites). Camp outs and expeditions also available. During your stay you will likely meet numerous kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and a wide variety of Australian birdlife, and if lucky spot a platypus in the lake. Guests may also challenge themselves on our fun range of outdoor activities include abseiling, canoeing, archery, low ropes course and initiative activities, bouldering wall, bush walking, bush cooking and camp fires, bike trails, hut building and orienteering/map reading. There is a volleyball court and small oval for games. AV equipment, or plenty of spaces for quiet reflection are also available.
Activity instructors supplied for abseiling,canoeing, giant's ladder, crate stack and mountain bikng. Transport can be arranged to and from the campsite and nearby venues.
