Camp Yarramundi Outdoor Education Camp
The Y NSW has been creating memories through outdoor education programs and camps for children, young people and community groups since 1937.
Located on the heritage listed Grose River in the beautiful Hawkesbury Valley, set on 35 acres of natural bushland, Camp Yarramundi has the capacity to accommodate up to 260 people in a variety of cabins across the site.
The camp offers a range of adventure activities, including a high ropes adventure course, giant swing, flying fox, team building and artificial caving!
Packages are available to schools, community, corporate groups and families ranging from day only programs to two to three-day stays.
Camp Yarramundi offers a wide variety of adventure activities that are all focused on the Outdoor Education & Camping Values.
Residential based programs
The students are based at Camp Yarramundi which has bunk style accommodation, a communal dining hall and facilities. Each day the students participate in programmed activities designed to challenge participants at both a personal and group level. The activities include adventure learning activities, problem solving initiatives and connection to the natural world focused education. (NB multiple activities can be run concurrently in any order to accommodate multiple groups)

Sequential Programming Model
Your students can participate in three different types of programs that range from Residential programming which is based on site at Camp Yarramundi, Introduction to Journey Based Programming that utilises Camp Yarramundi Journey Based Programming that can combine camp Yarramundi and the surrounding Blue Mountains National Park including Shaw's Reserve that we use as a staging point for both indigenous programming content and a paddle down the Nepean River.
