Wilderness Escape is the largest provider of Outdoor Education programs in South Australia, and are recognised nationally as a leader in the field of school based experiential education.

With the ability to tailor your program to address a range of Key Learning Areas Wilderness helps integrate your school camp within the wider school context. By providing varied camping experiences of increasing difficulty for each year level, Wilderness teaches your students concepts and skills that will set the foundation for life and personal growth.

By looking at school camps as a sequential learning experience, we create the right level of risk exposure to promote a peak experience. This scope and sequence of experiential learning allows your students to develop a self-sufficient skill level that ultimately gives them the ability to make knowledgeable choices about the outdoor experiences they then take on. As the level of challenge and experience increase, the students develop increased positive emotion through their achievements.

The students also have the opportunity to develop essential life tools such as personal responsibility, problem solving, independence as a leader and the ability to work with others. From booking accommodation and providing transport, to arranging catering requirements, creating camp booklets and parentÂ’s letters, collecting medical information, and supplying all specialised equipment, Wilderness Escape takes the hassle out of planning your next camp.

Whether your school is looking for specific links to the Australian Curriculum, outcomes including leadership, personal development and orientation, or maybe youÂ’re just after some fun adventure activities, there is no program too big or small for our dedicated team of outdoor professionals.
