Edmund Rice Camps Queensland is a community based not - for - profit organisation, providing recreational activities for children, youth and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity.

We deliver peer - mentoring programs supported by committed and passionate young adult volunteers with children who are referred to us by other community support organisations.

We partner with secondary schools and organisations to provide an opportunity for children and volunteers to grow and develop by working together in a supportive team environment.

'Eddie' Rice Camps are committed to social change in our community, through Empowering Kids, Developing Youth and Building Community.

In Queensland, we offer four styles of Edmund Rice Camps, each catering to the needs of our local communities.

?Our programs typically take place during school holidays and are designed and implemented by our volunteers, who make up a Leadership team.

We deliver 6 week- long camps per year; 3x Traditional, 2x Hybrid and 1x Family.

We also partner with local secondary schools to deliver an overnight program called Head2Heart; 6x H2H per year.
