An ACA member camp caters for between 30 and 300 people in shared dormitory-style accommodation, with most camps located in beautiful regional areas, as well as in cities and towns. Residential camps are best described as places that offer group accommodation, usually with full catering and activities onsite and nearby.

The ACA supports member camps to deliver excellent programs for groups from all walks of life, catering for people of various needs and interests.

All member camps visited during the study tour are accredited with the Quality Tourism Framework.
