COVID-19 Guidance Document for Camps

With the COVID-19 pandemic beginning to show signs of abating, the time has come to plan for a possible resumption of camps, hopefully later this year (see hashtag below!).

Camps really do offer the most effective way to re-integrate students back into schools and normality, and we know that the camp experience can reduce anxiety, increase efficacy and improve connection to peers and school. Let's ensure that everyone gets a safe and enjoyable camp experience asap - what better way to spend much anticipated time with friends, family or classmates?

This COVID-19 Guidance Document for Camps has been put together by the Australian Camps Association to help camp managers, staff and camp users think about what will need to be done to ensure the safety of staff and guests alike. It is by no means exhaustive but we hope it helps get the ball rolling.
