Victoria
- On 7 April 2020, the Victorian government announced that starting from Term 2, students in Victoria must learn from home if they can. Read the Victorian Premier’s release here.
- ALL CAMPS AND EXCURSIONS in Victoria scheduled to commence from and including Tuesday 17 March 2020 must be postponed and rescheduled, or, if there is no other option, cancelled. No camps can commence from Tuesday 17 March 2020. This is a directive of the Victorian Department of Education and Training. View on DET Website.

New South Wales
- NSW Education Department Announcement on Excursions - "Schools to implement distancing measures
The NSW Department of Education is introducing proactive measures to limit the impact of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in our schools. Mark Scott, Secretary of the Department of Education, today announced that schools would adopt social distancing measures requiring them to cancel assemblies, excursions, travel, some events and conferences.
Mr Scott said these measures are precautionary and designed to reduce exposure via non-essential gatherings.

South Australia

On 25 March 2020, the South Australian government launched a new central website to support home learning. Read the Premier's press release here.
- No announcement re camps or excursions at this stage. This is likely to be assessed by each school. In SA, Unley High School will not be operational Tuesday 17 March and is closed until further notice.
Queensland

The Queensland Government advised that from Friday 20 March 2020, all school trips, camps and excursions are to be postponed or cancelled. This is stated on the government website’s here.
Western Australia

The Department of Education has advised that School Camps for State Schools are to be postponed or cancelled from 17/03/20 for the foreseeable future. Cancellations also include: swimming and sports carnivals, interschool carnivals, performances, concerts, exhibitions, fetes and fairs. WA Education Department director-general Lisa Rodgers (17 March 2020).
Australian Capital Territory
- All camps scheduled to commence from Monday 16 March will be postponed and rescheduled, or, if there is no other option, cancelled.
Tasmania
- Schools to adopt social distancing measures as of Monday 16 March and cancel gatherings, including camps.
