Australian Camps Association Awards

The Australian Camps Association has an awards scheme in place to recognise individuals who have contributed to the sector.

There are two award types available;

• Life Membership

  The ACA recognises individuals who have both a lengthy membership of the Association and who have made a significant personal contribution to the wider camping sector through the awarding of Life Membership.

  Life Membership is the highest honour that the ACA can bestow. In accordance with the ACA Constitution, Life Members are exempt from the requirement to pay an annual subscription as individuals and continue to enjoy the benefits and privileges of an Ordinary Member.

• Southern Cross Award
  The Southern Cross Award is made to a member of the camping industry, not necessarily an ACA or other association member who has rendered strong and significant service to camping over a long period of time (usually not less than ten years).

  ACA Board Members will elect Southern Cross Award Recipients.
