2021 National Conference
'RECHARGE'

The theme of this year’s Conference is ‘Recharge’, coming as it does after a particularly difficult 2020, both for our profession and for us as individuals. We aim to provide some inspiring professional development as always, but we also want to focus strongly on you – there’ll be plenty of opportunities for fun, relaxation, networking, socialising and perhaps the odd quirky challenge here and there!
On the professional development front, our presenters will speak on a wide range of topics, including maintaining optimism, fostering wellbeing and resilience in your staff teams, developing strategic focus and building a more inclusive business model. The content will be suitable for managers, senior staff and activity staff, so bring your whole team along. In order to make that more possible, and in recognition of the financial impact of 2020, we have capped Conference registration fees for ACA Members at $100 per person (+GST and booking fee) for the entire two days, including dinner and entertainment. This is a once only offer, so please take advantage of it!
ACA Conferences are of course about building the camp community so social time is an important integral part of our event. The Conference Dinner will be a great opportunity to meet and re-connect with friends and colleagues from around the country, share ideas, have a laugh and simply enjoy some good food and good company.
It is ACA custom to rotate the Conference host state and after a very successful 2019 event in Queensland it is now Victoria’s turn. Our venue, the RACV Goldfields Resort at Creswick (not far from Ballarat), is very comfortable and ideally located near many ACA member camps – perfect for the post Conference Camps Tour.
